My background is in software engineering and large scale Internet application deployment and performance tuning. I was the VP of engineering at [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mp3.com the original MP3.com] from 1999 to 2003 and was a Unix programmer for the 15 years preceding MP3.com.
